Improving my drawing skills

I have a drawing related problem. Firstly, I don't seem to be improving in the past 3 months. I rarely ever draw, receive little appreciation for the drawings I do and generally hate most of the things I draw by erasing them. What should I do? How and how often should I practice? What should I do to get a little inspiration to keep drawing? Should I copy drawings and learn from them or read manga instead?(something I hardly ever did and do).

An OC (well 2). Drawn by hand (duh) and then touched up and stuff in Manga Studio. Because ... I'm hoping to get some more crit. I guess I'm going to start cross posting. =/.

Also, becase my dA is acing weird (not letting me download images, and thus, cant post them) and embeding doesn't work on the older site. Sorry about the oddness the embedding creates, but it's the only way! I swear!

I was just wondering...I'd really like to post a tutorial, and is it OK if i use some images from a Manga?

I want to do a "Case Study" of Techniques used by famous Mangaka (manga artists)... This will serve as a reference to people who want to improve there creations just like the pros do...

Hi there, all fellow artist

My name is Roel aka Cryoses

Because i've been getting more and more bored with computers and all hobbys i've started with something i've always wanted to do or learn.

I might not be very good at the moment, because i have 0% experience in drawing, but im here to learn the art of japanese drawing.

So today i bought my tablet. Wich is also a total new experience when i always used a mouse. But i gotta start somewhere.

So i hope to learn here alot from all experienced artists around and the nice tutorials.

For me it look pretty good, but there's always something wrong that we don't see. And now I call your help to point what is wrong on this picture.

Hi guys, sorry if I had to remake my thread but I felt that had to start again from the beginning and learn the basics. I'm also learning how to use SAI which is a bit different compared to Photoshop. It has tools that I'm not familiar so I had to experiment with some. I hope to get some good advice and opinions with the comments so I can improve. Thanks ^^
