WIP please critique?

hey there. i've never really posted here before but i figured i'd give it a shot, just to see what kind of comments i'll get. please keep in mind that i'm still working on this which is why it's so messy and has all the colours outside where they should be :/
anyway, here's what i'd like critiqued: (the character is copyright emworks at deviantart! i have NO rights to this character and make NO profit from this!)

I dont know about copyright or whatever but as long you draw it your self I think its okay.

What I see on this character is his right leg is too short (i think), maybe you need to expand it a little bit (but if after you expand it and then it look weird that mean im wrong ).And about how to painting hair properly i'm still studying about it too.
