Usually if someone says that kind of thing they either don't care or want it to be known, or else they wouldn't have said it. Plus it's not even perverted, it was a normal question that you took the wrong way. I wanted clarification that it was just a friend. Butt out and let her say if it bothers her or not, and if it does then she can tell me herself and I can apologize.
