Anass jerked his hand away from the Red/White Queens.
"Where is Away? Why am I here?"

The White and/or Red Queen looked confused. Well, confused for Anass. "You are here because the much longer list of places you are not does not include this place, which is here. Which is where you are. Here. Here is where you are." She smiled, her voice going sing-song. "Wherever you are, there you are." She gave him a big smile.
"Away is all the places that are not here, silly. You're an odd one, aren't you?" Anass was suddenly aware that at some point during the conversation his crossbow had turned into a fish which had just melted in his hand.

"You're not like the Many-Angled Ones, are you? You can only be in one place at once. Much neater that way. Less wondering where you are, I'd imagine." The table proceeded to fade away into nothingness.

"Why are you holding a fish?" She laughed. "You're weird!"

"I am holding a fish because there is a fish in my hand and I am gripping it!" Anass' grip was practically crushing the fish.
"What are the many angled ones? And don't just tell me they are Ones with many angles"

"They are! How did you know! You're so smart, Anass!" The White and/or Red Queen gasped happily and clapped her hands.

"Oh, come on! You know the Many-Angled Ones! They're horrid! As bad as the Uvuudaums and the Lloigor! A little worse than the Vastness, I think. Not as bad as the Elder Gods, of course. Or the One Who Is Two Who Are Many. Nothing as bad as that. Nothing at all. Nothing as bad. Real bad. Bad as it gets." She got deadly serious. "And It will never end."

Anass really wanted to hit her, But that wouldn't do him any good.
"I am very tired, Could you send me home?"

She looked confused. "Home? You came here."

"This is your house isn't it?"

"Well, I am here. And this is a house. I think. But you are here too. Is it your house? But you're my guest, so I guess it must be my house, right?" She looked confused.

"Oh! Hello, Anass! When did you get here?"
