Oh yeah, I know about CGsociety. There is another pro site called CG Hub. Lots of professionals on both. You shouldn't be that intimidated imo. Most professionals are pretty cool and aren't hung over who's better and all that bullsh- wanna-be's act like. (Though, if they do - then they've got a serious case of egotism or lack of confidence)

I don't think there is an offline download you can get. But I could be wrong. Have you tried doing a search for posemaniacs download?
