Also, can someone explain to me the deep meaning behind Angel Beats? The story was well above the average anime plot, but I don't really see anything that would propel it over the top.

QFT, angel beats was one of the best example's of destroyed potential, nothing mre, nothing less.

Now that you mentioned bones, i noticed there's no FMA, wtf? FMA was one of the best nimes i had ever seen and it was quite popular, well... more popular than strike witches and working anyway... yay! for eureka seven....
