I have created a game development page that would be useful for those interested in game development:

It's made up of 3 Sections:
1. A list of game engines including free and paid for ones. Plus some that 'don't need programming'.
2. A list of free game development tools such as free 3D modelling programs, texture generators, sound effect generators etc.
3. Additional links related to game development resources such as free skybox textures, models, sounds etc.

Plus I'm not selling anything!

Old threads can be revived just as long as there is something new to say. 'Sides, this is a stickied thread - any new information is okay just as long as it is relevant to the topic. I suggest you re-read the rules for each section and the general global rule in the General Discussion.

Thanks for the update. One addition I want to suggest:
Kingsoft Office (FREE VERSION) its a free alternative to Libre Office and Open Office. Contains an equivalent for Word, Excel and Powerpoint. Allows saving straight to PDF.

Note: Adds a task to the Schedules Tasks for updating purposes apparently.
