I'm working on a Megaman clone myself, but you're a lot further than I am. Mimicking Megaman-style movement is proving harder than i thought.

I went hardcore and decided to program in C++ from low level libraries.
I hate my life. 5000 lines of code and the graphics engine isn't completed. Oh well. At least I can actually make Benjamins off this one.

    WebAnimate? Any good?

    Hi All,

I'm looking at doing some 3D animation - a first a short movie and later to develop into a game.

I've got some excellent models from a friend, but was looking for an easy to use animation tool for rigging, re-targeting etc. that isn't too pricey.

Heard about WebAnimate, but wanted to see what people think before using. Is it a decent tool? easy to use? and worth the 20$ / month?

    Thanks,

    Charlie

yup a whole lot more. I'm trying to find a clever way to use an HP controller to control all HP within a level for all enemies. But I have an issue of variables being re-initialized and resetting everything's HP. Object grouping using parenting is nice, but also really clumsy in the sense that it will reinitialize one-time variables like Health. And if I want really complex enemies the logic gets too hairy to keep the behavior within one object. Aghhhh.
