Let's talk Lolita

Lolita is one of those things I'm finding that people's opinons on it are as diverse as the fashion itself. I know people who hate it, love it, only like certain sub-styles or are just kinda "Yeah, whatever" about it.

I am in love with the Classic, Gothic and Aristocrat (I consider it still lolita) styles. I think sweet is cute on the right people, but I'm not the right person, and I reserve Guro for special occasions.


But what about you? What do you think?

It's one and the same now. It's like saying that you are hanging up that Nazi Flag outside your door because you think it looks pretty. That may or may not be true, but the thing has become a symbol for something. To most fans of lolita stuff it is about the sexualization of children.

As for the lolita dressing style, I like it. Think it's p. awesome. Especially the goth type.
