That is the dress's fault. the padding in the dress design makes her shoulder's seem higher than they actually are and the placement of the corset where it is, makes her legs look short. (this is not a dress I would recogmend to girls with long arms.) If I hadn't've done the collar as a high collar and made it a more "U" shaped collar, it would show what I'm talking about.

I will admit, I should've given her longer legs and made it an underbust corset instead of an overbust.

I have to agree with Kasey on this one. The right arm (Our right) seems a bit too long. What you're saying about the dress is correct, that style of dress does elongate the arm, but that is not the case. We can see where the shoulder is, I think the error is the placement of the puff sleeves AND the shoulder. Look at a picture of a similar dress. Is the girls arm unnaturally long? Kasey's crit is still valid, and I suggest you should maybe listen to her.

For my own crit of your drawing, I suggest for the corset instead of straight lines, use lines that work with the curves of the body. If you look at a corset, even one with lines, they are not poker straight. I really like the curled hair, you've drawn that quite well.

Anyway, I hope I helped/cleared things up a bit. And a word of advice would be to listen when artists give you critiques, and not reply with an explanation of why the error is the way it is. An error is an error, simple as that.
