I feel your pain on the wrist brace thing man.. I once had to wear a plaster caster over my forearm and hand for like 2 months..sucks.

Anyway the tone you establish with colour pencils is buetiful. Just be careful with the eye folds. I feel they might be a little too baggy.

I love it and think it's beautiful. The only thing I'd rework is the dimple and the sharpness of the face.
