I haven't read much Shojo lately, but I really enjoyed the first part of Fushigi Yuugi. The second part got a little silly...and redundant.
Plus, I was pissed when

she killed off my favorite character, Nuriko.

I started both Fruits Basket and Red River...but never finished them.

I don't know if these are considered Shojo or not, but I also loved Angel Sanctuary and Godchild cause they were fucked up, but still had "pretty boys." :P

And of course, Sailor Moon

Fruits basket sucked, well not really but the anime pissed me off so much i mean like with hell ' let go fade into the sunrise together ' And the ending was typical... but then again most shoujos are the same :/

The ending is a bit of a letdown, but this is one of the funniest shoujos (it's really josei) I've watched. I really hope for a second season soon. :c

Also, this one's not shoujou in the least, but anyone who likes very emotional, sad things would do well to watch Elfen Lied. I absolutely defy you to go through that series and not be sad at the ending. Makes me cry every time.
