Ninjas. If Naruto is anything to go by, then any ninja with a dojutsu (the Sharingan, Byakugan and Rinnegan) would beat the snot out of the pirates. Without the laws of naruto, ninjas would win any. They're just better.

Oh god, this is getting complex. It's like that video game thing...Capcom vs...I can't remember what, but in the game it's like all the classic fighting characters (Street Fighter, etc) battling each other. Or Soul Caliber.

I watched some show a while back on whether or not a ninja assassin could actually work this day-in-age, and they totally "took out" their target (which meant they marked the dude with paint or something.) It was awesome.

Also, I think Ninja Warrior (Sasuke) kinda shows that ninja's are still pretty tops. I mean, there's no Pirate Warrior game show.

But I guess pirates are still successful today, they just don't wear the cool eye patches. I think modern pirates are lame.
