Doubble post!

A Quick painting i did of some old dude i found on a stockphotosite. I really need to improve my paintingstyle so I hope anyone can give me some advice on how to improve. I recon I have the basics down (shapes, colour theory).

I think it looks pretty awesome so far I think you should work some more on using more values and relying less on line, I notice in some (not all) of your paintings that you use a lot of line to show off features which are better expressed using contrasts in shading, hope that is of help

Dude im shit when it comes to painting but i know that cype ays to always practice with grayscale drawings to get better at painting and getting shapes without lines. On the last dude, i think his upper skull might be too big.
