I thought the English flag was the red cross on white, and the UK flag was the union jack.

actually it's meant to resemble 3 strips of bacon on a square blueberry waffle
the british flag that is, not the english.

The union flag is supposed to be for all of great britain, as Hell_Baron said, and it has the English flag, the Scottish flag, and the flag of Northern Ireland sort of built into it. Poor Wales, doesn't get any recognition. I can't help but feel sorry for them sort of. But then I just remember how much they love their sheep.

You learn something new everyday...I should have known this...(I feel ashamed of myself.) I knew the others--well not Wales, though I plan to read up on them.

Thanks for the lesson. Now I want blue berry pancakes. Not the bacon, though >:P

I got kind of bored, and I feel like posting it now, but the problem is I looked in the FAQ and I still don't know how to upload a picture.

If you want to upload to the Gallery (seems like people are posting their pictures there too), go to Gallery > Upload a New Image. Hit Browse and go find the image you want to upload in your hard drive. Hit Upload (make sure it says process your image) and wait while it uploads you image.

When it's done, you can add a title, select what section the image will go, or whatever or you can just skip the step. Now go into the Gallery, hover over your image, right click and select Copy Image Location. Now, back here in the forum, hit the little tree icon above the posting box. Paste the URL you just copied in there and hit OK. Either that, or you can just do the following:

[img]enter the URL here[/img]

Post and that's it. Btw, if you uploaded your image in facebook, DA, or anywhere else, you can bypass the beginning and just jump to the Copy Image Location part and post your photo.
