I love the earrings! I wish I could do that! But, I'm afraid I'm a bit chicken (I've got just four regular piercings total.) They look so awesome, though!

○ Dragon: Thank you! I don't stretch my ears, though. I wear split expanders (spoiler). If I did stretch, it would only be to about a 12 or 14 gauge to stave off my mortal fear of cheese cutting, which has happened to family members of mine. o___o

Where weight of an earring forces the wire to pull straight through the ear, leaving a cleft where a piercing once was. It's called cheese cutting because cheese cutters are just thin wires that cut straight through the dense and sturdy cheese just by applied pressure. Thicker gauge earrings don't cheese cut because they distribute the weight of the earring more evenly throughout the lobe.
