What does the premium membership get you

To find it go to Dashboard. If you look right above your avatar is a line of links. Click on the one that says Upgrades. It'll list all the subscription details and so on.

The gist of it is the following:
Support Manga Tutorials and get extra features! You'll be able to:
- Write blogs,create groups, make polls and quizzes
- Upload 10 MB file-sized images to your gallery and marketplace listing
- Display up to 100 images at once at the Gallery
- No ads
...and much more!

I prefer the old forum where we didn't have to, you know, pay for anything.

You still don't have to pay for anything. You are on a free account right now.

Paying only gets you the ability to upload bigger sized artwork, other abilities, no ads, blogging abilities and in future some pretty neat things I have planned out. As I said in the other forum, you don't really need a Premium account because the basics the Free account covers most of everything anyways.

In other words, the new forum has the same features as the old forum. If you want to pay though, you get extra features.
