AirFrance serve very bad food on their planes. Last time they servered some strange french cheese the whole plain started to stink an I got sick...The food on Austrian Air is very nice. I like the cakes

It depends on the flight. If you're going on a very long flight, like NY to Asia, for instance, you will be served food for free (food = fish, chicken, or beef with veggies and dessert). If you're doing a short one hour to 3 hour flight, you will only be served peanuts and drinks for free. Anything else, and you will have to pay.
