So, RPM 2011 starts in two days. Anyone else here going for it?

We're working with some other people this time, so our sound is changing 'cuz of that. In order to make things less shitty I began looking into drum module software - stuff that runs on the computer and reads in my kit's MIDI input to produce a drum track.

As it turns out, BFD Drums was too slow and EZDrummer had no demo and thus no way for me to see if it would work or not - so I went with Addictive Drums, which is a VST plugin.

The setup actually works rather well - just a MIDI cord going from my set into our Lexicon Omega, and then Reaper loads the actual plugin.

There's really way too much reverb on this version, but here's a song we're working on - if nothing else the drums sound a lot less faketacular: Paranoia is Killing Me.
