If anyone was wondering magix music maker is fucking awful.

idk how that program works. I've never even heard of it until now actually.

Basically what happens is you drag samples or create midi tracks. After that it crashes, and then you reload and continue doing that. Just repeat that process. The program mixes it up by crashing due to different errors each time.

I just read that it supports VST instruments, so you should check out http://www.tweakbench.com/ because they have a lot of good free VST instruments there. I think there's a mellotron one on there called tapeworm which is supposed to be decent.

Edit: actually wait idunno if you can use them without a midi keyboard or something
