Totally agree with Sparky!! Great job! Keep it up!
omg those are fucking GORGEOUS
thanks guys, you guys inspire me most!
seriously wont be able to do such coloring without sparky's advice/recommendations from last year. lol
anyway... nothing much but i decided to thank you guys so i gotta post something up
some commissions i've done, i sell them for lik 50 usd cents haha, characters are not mine!!!
this blue eye color was a mistake but owner was pretty ok with it
this is the right eye color...
i didn't notice that i got the wrong skin color when i finished the piece
so owner asked me to change it lol
owner asked me to do her a portrait hehehe turned out she actually owns a sweater like that, so cool. so i guess she was happy
the thing i liked most about my coloring style/system is that i easily change hues without changing shadows and highlights... i think that's the beauty of cel shading

thanks j! hehe i try to do more colors
nahhhh soft cell shading is too stressful... heheh i tires me too much but maybe when i get better at my hard cell shading id try that
a new style that i love using. it only takes me 10 minutes min to 40 minutes max to draw the whole thing
i first do a sketch, second sketch, third sketch, then colors! viola! here are some of the results of that inky super fast style.
i plan to do landscape paintings using this style sometime later when i finish my commissions and gifts for christmas (so maybe around january)
well that's all.
update for the sake of updating
ROFL. That's me too. Only mine isn't nearly this good. Turns out as smudges across the page. Heh.inky super fast style.
I think you should experiment with line weight. I know this is your "new" style that you've been experimenting with, (very pop-esque, btw) but like Jorgie has been saying, you should probably try to get some variety in coloring/inking in at somepoint. Just for practice.
Also, haven't I seen Sakurai somewheres before?
"Make sure the room is brightly lit and stay far away from the TV."
(Also, I'M BACK FROM THE DEAD!!!)
I really like that pastel colour portraits you do right up at the top c: they have a really nice sheen to them (not sure how else to describe it lel) :O
hi there folks, i happen to be a ghost fooling around again in this corner of mt forums
characters belong to their owners. hehe... its over half a year before i got to draw again... so i guess that makes the learning curve a bit steep again.
