Idk if the game got easier or if I'm just a badass but I'm breezing through monsters like its nothing. I keep making stupid mistakes like forgetting to bring potions or whetstones but I still haven't failed a mission.

haven't fought anything serious really but I used to struggle with dudes like gobul but now he's ez mode

probably because I'm using ez mode longsword

beating 4 star quests while forgetting shit is still p good. and anyway longswords aren't easy mode easy mode is sword and shield cmon

I think the game seems easier cuz there's more fights inbetween the major ones. Like before I think you went straight from great jagi to qurupeco which is a big leap, whereas now there's a bunch of monsters inbetween and it ramps up better.
