I didn't get it, and I was sketchy from the gameplay leading up to its release anyway. So it's already forgotten.

Sad thing about it is that it looked awesome during its early development stages, but I read somewhere that Time Gate screwed Gearbox over, essentially.
It's just a product with good potential that ran out of time due to someone else screwing up. I sure as hell was looking forward to it. But see.

Crysis 3 shall not let me down. It better fuckin' not, after what Crysis 2 was. I've seen good things from my time playing the beta.

Yeah, turns out the awesome looking demo was pure bullshit.
However, TimeGate (along with Demiurge and Nerve) wasn't the one screwing over Gearbox over.
Gearbox was screwing over 20th Century FOX and SEGA.
Rumor has it that the extra money and extra time given to them by SEGA was spent on polishing Borderlands 2.
