Idk what the laws are outside of Cali so it could be perfectly legal. Those laws may have changed as well here since I haven't checked into them in like 2 years. What kind of machinery do you operate? The term could be applied to a lot of things but in the law I think it applies to mostly heavy machinery or machines you have to be certified or liscensed to operate.
Also for anyone looking Home Depot should be hiring soon for seasonal people because their season starts soon. Will be mostly garden center, lumber doors, cart gathering and possibly cashiering. Most likely helping load shit into peeps cars and trucks. I was talking to my dad about it the other day because he's a freight supervisor at our local HD and he mentioned they were coming up into season so I figure if its hitting here then it should be everywhere for them. He's allways complaining to that all they ever do is hire high school kids that don't want to work to so yea.
