I posted this in the main site but for those of you who don't venture there or read the News box, here's the details:

ImagineFX is holding another Rising Stars Contest to find the next up and coming artists from around the world! Entrants may choose to send their work under any one of these five categories:

-Video Games Art
-Environment Painting
-Master Artist
-Comic Art

Prizes include a year's subscription to Gnomon and Digital Art Academy, classes at Schoolism, copies of Painter 12 and new art books from Design Studio Press. Plus the winner of the Corel Painter category, Master Artist, will be bequeathed the title of Painter Master!

Here's the rules and details on how to enter straight from ImagineFX:

Entrants are invited to submit five digital or traditional pieces of portfoliowork and a short biography. We hope to be seeing thousands of amazing pieces of artwork, so make sure your five pieces all fit into one email, being no bigger than 10MB in total. Remember to mark all entries with your chosen category.

Include a photograph of yourself, please don't send original works and make sure that you have copies to spare of anything submitted.

The deadline is midnight GMT, 15 October 2012.

Email your entries to: risingstars@imaginefx.com.

Post your entries on a disc to:
Rising Stars 2012
