I believe my mom has a friend who is in something like the program Ink described but she is being trained for a job or something. They have you train and do all kinds of things all over the park. My moms friend got a private place tho because she sleep walks and she got a drs note saying it could potentially be a problem for other people. I was thinking of doing it myself but I want more info on it first (like wth I would be doing!) and then maybe if I felt my family was stable enough for me to leave.

I don't think it sounds so bad. Yeah, you're away from home, but it's not like you're completely cut off from civilization. If you're getting paid for it and/or they provide food and board, so much the better. Your family and friends can still call and send care packages, and if you keep busy you might not even notice the time passing. Most of the other people in the program are likely as nervous about it as you are, and sharing a room with a stranger isn't so bad. At least you're not sharing a room and a shower with 35 other people. This seems like it could be an amazing opportunity, and you should jump on it while you can. It'll be something cool to stick on a resume if nothing else.

It sounds really cruel to ask you to get rid of your dog just because he's old D:

maybe your parents can get rid of themselves while they're at it. They're getting pretty old by now, right?
