Well, that's my first female head, i've made her with the MT's tutorials, in my opinion ( that don't means nothing ) it's good, for my first drawing.

Here's a guide to manga heads:

On your picture: the eyes shouldn't slant down, the ears should be lower. Both ears and both eyes are different sizes and one's placed higher than the other. The neck should be straighter and thicker at the top. The top of the hair should be higher off the top of the head. The nose and mouth could stand to be a little lower.

The best advice I can give you is to do a hair and head study. Draw from references and study anatomy really well. It's the best way to improve!

You should use some references.

I got really good at hair after I realized that hair comes in layers! So try that out.

Good copying. I'll now give you the advice that was first given me:

Draw from life, draw things that are just lying around, people's hands, feet, figures, plants, rocks. Also look up books by Andrew Loomis and George Bridgeman.

That was a very good copy of the reference, I will just point out a couple of differences between your sketch and the ref; The head and fist are a little too small, if you look at the reference there is no negative space between the leg and his crotch however there is a gap meaning you have the leg a little too far from the body, final one is that you have drawn visible on the other side of the leg when on the reference you can only see the hand on one side of the leg. Hope this was helpful nice work ^_^
