It might have been genuniely sad if she had just taken the painting off the wall and done it, but since she clearly received some sort of permission from a Church authority, it's pretty funny. At least they still have pictures of it, maybe a truly capable artists can do a fitting copy.

After reading this I half expected to see a hand sign like naruto style.
I wonder if it can't be fixed if she will be prosecuted to any extent? It was a historic piece for them but it wasn't well preserved I guess so it could go either way.

Watch you guys don't know is that jesus was a bear thus making this the most accurate representation of him so far.
I think you'll find that it was originally one of the timesplitter monkeys that somebody really botched and accidentally made look like jesus.
