Ahh, yes. SAI is by far the easiest software to create lineart in. I prefer Illustrator though, harder to learn but it gives you more options once you've learned the basics.

Both the card master and the lolita girl is clean and neat. The card master is also a very hard pose to draw *good job*. However, they seem a little bit stiff. This is where basic anatomy training takes you, time to take the next step on the path of the artist =) :

Just as I did you've probably read a ton of tutorials. Many of those tutorials probably encouraged you to use basic geometric shapes to envision what you draw; spheres, cylinders, cubes and so on. Now it's time to reflect deeper on how those shapes interact with each other to make the figure "flow".

One way to practice this is to use photos and other ppls drawings and draw a redline of how you would use the geometric shapes to describe it. When done, hide the original picture and draw your lineart based on the shapes you drew before.

Whoa, just realized that I sound like a whole bunch of philosofs, hope you can make something out of this jibberish anyway :P

Anyways, it's not bad for a first time coloring. You should really consider where your light source is coming from before you add in the shading. Right now, it just seems kind of random. Also, some of the shading felt like it was done rather fast - some parts where not shaded in when it should've been shaded in like at the hair.

As for your other artwork, you should watch your lines. Try to go for a seamless line when you ink. If you can, try to clean up your artwork too because I'm seeing a lot of marks that could have been erased.

I've started coloring. So here's my work so far.

You've got some lovely hair there, and the earing is c u t e. Still, something in this nose seems wrong to me.
Try making your shades darker. You know, not like "greyer" of the color you've chosen, but still.. dont be afraid of contrast. :P Though it might be just my laptop monitor changin the colours and I suppose this is simply the beginning of the process so not much could be said.

Yeah I'm afriad of darker colours. I want her hair to be black but I'm not so sure to go about it. Like I know the base coulour shouldn't be the full on color black... something like that =S
