So I ended up just getting one board for 40 bucks. Looks tight.

For acoustic guitars, you pay for sound quality. For electric, you pay for looking darn awesome (and sound quality if you feel like it). I'm assuming skateboards are similar to electric guitars in the sense?

Jai, it sounds great, especially for its price ($300, and $400 if you want a nice case with it, which I did). The sales dude said I wouldn't get a better sound unless I was willing to pay substantially more, which I wasn't.

Not a guitar expert, but I thought you always care about sound before looking.

Sorry about that. I should correct myself: with electric guitars, you have a wider variety of designs and colors to choose from, whereas acoustic guitars (at least where I was) didn't have as much visual variety.
