Today is mellow but yesterday? Yesterday was weird. I had to see HR about my being late often & my boss broke down and cried when I went to apologize for being late when he needs me. Which is ridiculous because I stay over like three days a week...shouldn't matter when I get there.

Then I called a friend to come over and hang out. We have a history but that chapter has closed & we're supposed be good friends.


Then this happened:

ME: "So are, you a Star Wars fan or a Trekkie?"
HER: "Have to say both I suppose."
ME: "But you have to lean towards one side don't you?"
HER: "Star Wars."
ME: "Word. I can dig it. Me to. What I don't understand is why Lucas started with Episode: IV..."
HER: He didn't. He added the Episode IV: A New HOPE after the prequels came out to keep the continuity straight."
ME: NO...I'm pretty sure that The 1st movie in the Star Wars Saga is a new Hope."
ME: "NO IT WASN'T IT WAS CALLED STAR WARS! THEY ADDED THAT LATER! I KNOW MY STAR WARS SHIT NOW..."

REALLY?

I kept trying to explain but she just got madder and madder then stormed out.
So, I'm still in shock now. Maybe it was her time of the month or just hates to be wrong idk...crazy though for a grown woman to get all upset ove Star Wars.
