When I write for my Manga I am (trying) to make, I have a very important question. I feel as if Action comics get very dry if it is nothing but hack and slash, bullet time madness. Here is my questions though.

I would say it depends on how the puns fit the characters, in my opinion... The old Dirty Pair anime did an excellent job of jokes, for instance, because the two main characters' personalities clashed with each other. Samurai Champloo is a more modern example.
Giving us some kind of idea of what you're actually thinking of would have helped alot, through, mind. x_x
