Godwin was born and raised as the son of a knight in a small borough called Wulfhelm which resided in the kingdom of Buttlund. After King James of Buttlund tried to touch all the butts of innocent people in his domain, the people in his kingdom sought to overthrow the king. During the rough battle, many were killed and many butts were touched but it was Godwin's father who killed King James on the battlefield. He took over Buttlund as King and renamed the kingdom Wulfhelm after his home town. His reign was short-lived as he died of a butt-wound he sustained in the great butt battle of Buttlund. His son, Godwin, took over as King after his father's passing and been ruling Wulfhelm ever since.
