I just found out that my new computer's mainboard is broken.
apparently it has been like this since i first got it. but i got a new graphics card because "the drivers of the onboard VGA weren't installed yet". so i actually nearly €400 for a new graphics card AND a new monitor, since my current one doesn't support DVI.
so i plug the sucker in the mainboard, hoping it will finally work... it did not. so after searching a while on teh googlez i was advised to check if the mainboard beeps when starting up. it didn't. so i remove the RAM and try again. still no beeps.
which led me to the only logical explaination: the damn thing either got hit by a static charge or it was allready fucked to begin with.
i just hope i actually have some warranty left on the damn thing, or i'll be punching random furniture in the goddamn face.
