I imagine the darklord would have defensive magic that prevent people from appearing through a portal into it. Anyways, nope, needs more action.

in my travels i attained a certain opium...people of the fat country celled it
''weed'' funny name i know. The smoke from the burnt plant makes the subjects hallucinate and act either really friendly( possible exploitation trough the means of attacking un-hostile enemies) or makes them experience highly disturbing and nerve-wrecking ''trips''. I believe we can use this substance for high altitude dispersion., thus rendering our opponents harmless.

maybe the scorpion siege weapons, but the skeletons wouldn't be affected.

Only if the portal wasn't there first! Those have been put everywhere for years man.

I doubt someone like the Dark Lord would have just barely set up these defenses now, I imagine they'd have been set up many years earlier. Also, wouldn't you need a nervous system to be affected by such a concoction? Skeletons are just bones, yo.
