Hey GunZet, long time no see. Judging from what I've seen just now, you've done wonders since the last time I saw your stuff. I especially liked the one you did of Earthworm Jim, I'd have to agree with Tetsu here, very nostalgic (nice seeing you again too), spot on
How'd you go with the show by the way?
The piece wasn't accepted in unfortunately, or probably fortunately. I didn't like the painting at all, but it was all I had to submit lol.
New stuff/ stuff you've already seen in WIP but is now finished and uploaded with a really BAD quality but o well.

I really like the hand one. Actually, I like them all, but that one is particularly cool :3
So yesterday I was feeling quite depressed. Felt like I didn't stack up to all the other artists out there in my field. I almost crashed into another art block when I said FUCK YOU, THUNDER, YOU CAN SUCK MY D**K!
And so I made the executive decision to drop the silhouette style for a bit and actually try to tap into my full potential as a digital artist.
I didn't quite hit the golden nugget yet, as I know I can still do better, but here are some results I cranked on consecutively today.
TL;DR This is what happens when I finally decide to sit down and dig into some work? Wtf.
This took about 2 hours and 40mins
Took about the same amount of time, though I was working from reference, and tbh, I don't like it. Linz said it's a bit too blurry. I agree.
This was my last one. It raped my hands and wracked my body. I have no more to say.
It took about another 2-3 hours.

higher opacity and hardness could help with the blurry problem. Since you're used to starting with silhouettes, I see how using opacity can throw you off.
Ah, thanks for the tip. I'll try that out tomorrow cause yea, I worked with about 20-50% opacity levels with hard edged brushes.
The problem was that the opacity messed up the hard edges so I had to re-work an edge a thousand times then erase just to get it sharp.
Here are some fantasy prop variations I did today. in a couple hours. #2 is the shit. How 'bout you guys?
