I had a neat explanation cooked up, but then I realized I was confused by it too and my explanation was wrong. Regardless, I wouldn't worry about it.

...well apart from the fact that almost everything is SEXY...rather then cute....great start up....
Its hard to make something look cute in a bikini.......Bikinis are ....like a personifications of sexiness.....rather the n cuteness....also FUDGE MATHS FOR NOT LETTING ME HAVE ENOUGH TIME FOR THE SECOND ENTRY!!!

The contest was meant to be open to characters who could balance sexiness and cuteness, but you're right. A modest bikini is pretty much an oxymoron, but I tried for the most balancing one I could come up with.

Winning is only a secondary objective Guaco, the contest is about drawing something that's not usually your style and seeing how well you do it. After all, being compared to others doesn't yield you any improvement in skills whatsoever, but the actual participation does!
I joined the Saimoe contest knowing I won't win, I do it mainly for the improvement and fun
