So far the RPG Maker XP impress me and some of the stuff made with them is pretty cool, I may get it but still unsure at the moment, if worst comes to the worst I guess I could use the free trial.

As long as you're not profiting off of it you're cool. And, as long as you can cover not having licenses if you DO sell it, you CAN sell it. For instance, if you use pirated music software and VSTs, there's no license clearance you have to go through to get your work published into the market, if you go through the right software holders.

Well, I did program and spend over 500 hours developing a game with RPG Maker VX with a team. It was quite professional with many tweaks and it did sell a lot of copies though beta is free. It's basically a Final Fantasy game with the fight system. (FF12) Because it was real time.

i could help however, I'm not skilled with that software... any design like... flash manga/anime-ish videos inbetween scenes or something could be in my track though :P or other kind of photos... I'm sadly not good in 8bit pixels...

8 bit isn't a requirement. Me and my team programmed ground up drawn image sprites in our game and you can place animations into it also so I'm sure there is a place for everyone. Even in voice acting.

ah yh, voice acting I didn't think about. I can work there as well :P I can change my voice differently and even use my logitech g35 voice morpher if needed. So... I'm here if you think you can get use of me XP
