I don't mind other people's kids, I just hate the thought of having my own. The wonderful thing about nieces and nephews and friends' kids is that you can hand them back to their parents when they start acting shitty.

Dude, I do not understand... Other people's kids have been annoying the crap out of me lately. I used to babysit all the time in high school, and i liked the kids I babysat, but recently all kids are getting on my nerves. > Although the fact that you can give them back whenever is definitely a good thing.

Also thanks Liebe. Who knows, on one hand I feel like my being single is just going to happen - its like an instinct - on the other hand I'm kind of happy about it b/c it gives me free reign over how my future pans out (also no kids.) . I don't have to worry about another person's goals. Bit selfish, I know, but whatevs.

I like to think that even though I probably won't do the world any good, I might have a son or daughter who might do the world some good. Maybe there'll be some validation for mine being born.
