Interesting sketches... I'm just wondering, how big are they on the paper?
nice! like i said in da, i love the smoothness of all these concepts.
Keep doing them James, it'll help speed things up. It also helps in loosening up and de-stressing. Plus they're looking great. Really cool designs. Fluid and spontaneous.
no crits sorry

@Son - Thanksand yeah all of them took up the A4 page, I just cut out the ring binding
@BV - Thanks
Oh gods??? Is that a male I see? :O
Well yeah, but it is a work in progress (only got the arms sorted to my liking), he is suposed to be hunched over but I don't have any refs currently so I just kinda.... improvised with the shoulders for now, I will fix them up later, they aren't my primary concern currently

Thanks, but there must be something wrong, there is always something wrong
Nah this ain't him, this is my experimentations with Hogarths teachings which will possibly develop into a fan art, not sure yet

hey james
long time no see
for your latest male, his shoulders should be the width oif his hips plus half the width of his hips. its a guy thing, and you don't have to stick to that exactly, but as men tend to have more developed muscles on the shoulder and less developed on the hips, the shoulders should appear wider. nice work though,and i loved the angle sketch a page or so back![]()
ah, finally something I know something about!
This guy looks okay, but there's a problem with the lower half of his torso (i.ei., hips) They're too rounded, and his whole lower torso section there is too long. His upper torso should be more refined, more like an upside down triangle than an hour glass. Just think about the ab placement, that might help.
Ditto on ^^^
