    Iccy's EPIC ARTROIDS IMPROVEMENT CHALLENGE!!!

So YOU wanna improve you say? Well here is a challenge that will almost guarantee YOU to improve! >.....Ok not really, but kinda if you do it right.

So some of you may know I've quit my day job to take a full 12 months off to improve my art (and brush up on my English) . So this is a challenge that I've set up for myself. Those of you who have known me from the old MT days might remember a "100 drawing challenge" I did some time ago. Well this is something similar. Except it'll be exaggerated in EPIC Proportions. The old one was 100 drawings a month, this one will be 100 drawings in ..... A WEEK!!

Yes that's right, so the idea of this exercise is to get the mileage on areas that you may already know but need polishing and areas where you may be unfamiliar with all together. I'll be breaking it down to what I'll be doing in each month, and what my focus will be for that particular week. I'll also post the resources I'll be using to learn and use as reference.

So no sign ups require, just post what you have accomplish, even if you fail, you are encourage to post what you did. Feel free to pick out what months you wanna do.

My primary focus will be on character design and landscape for this 12 months. I'll be posting more details as I go along. The order of the months are subject to changes, but you can pick out whichever one you wanna do (Although atm I only have 2 of them figure out.)

    ATTEMPT 100 DRAWING CHALLENGE

So yes, each week will be 100 drawings of the given topic. So Ive pretty much split up my week to 5 days continuous practice and 2 days break.

Now of course I'm not expecting everyone to do the full challenge unless you have a full 12months of freedom like me @_@. You guys can maybe do 25 for each week making it a total of 100 for the month. If not just do as much as you can. I'll be posting all of my progress at the end of the week here and I encourage those who took the challenge to do the same C:

PS Im starting this Wednesday the 7th

    Good Luck ;D

A whole year of just drawing? Iccy, you're gonna be amazing when this is done.

100 drawings a week means 20 per day, leaving weekends to do some application, or 15 per day, including weekends. Leaving just Sundays off would land you with 17 drawings per day.

5 days per week = 20 pictures per day
6 days per week = 17 pictures per day
7 days per week = 15 pictures per day

This is definitely doable when you break it down. I'll start today.

    Errrr...

    20 drawings a day?

But... but... I'm working on a comic right now...

You know, I know this sounds like I'm wimping out and all, but I would really like to do this. Realistically though, I could probably only come up with about one-two quality drawings (studies) per week. Sketches I could probably do five... but then that's sort of not the point.

Will I offend you if I still do this at a much smaller scale?

@ Matt, thanks for the fix!
@ AlmanacnamedTime , YOSH! Good luck!
@ JJJorgie , Its an awesome exercise 8D, good luck!
@ theAnimeRebel, I forgot to mention, it doesn't necessarily have to be a complete drawing, as long as the drawing is beneficial to your knowledge is enough. IIE

Each sketch will be counted as one drawing. So sketch the hell out of it! 8D
