No actually with my poor social skills I was quite lonely.

but you clash with your siblings so much most of the time... but i supposed you aren't really 'alone' when you have siblings.

My sister and I are actually friends, and we live together (away from our parents) now, but there is always this mentality that I am obliged to look after even now we are both adults, even though shes often very selfish, ungrateful, or doesn't even realise she is being helped out.
i'm friends with my brother, but cause i see him all the time, i can see an criticise all of his faults. thats why i think most siblings fight do much.maybe you should just give her a subtle hint once in a while that you might deserve some thanks.
