So I got into my course at Warwick (Philosophy and Literature)! In terms of A level grades I have here is a complete list:

I thought of a good subject for you to philosophize about: Pooing: is it a waste of time or is it time well spent?

Well to answer this question we have to consider a number of related questions: What, precisely, is poo? (Furthermore, what is an object - we have to consider the general case before we consider a specific.) What is time, and what about our relationship with it means we can spend or waste it? Do we actually poo, and is pooing essential to a human's mode of being (what Heidegger calls Dasein's "being-in-the-world")?

So you see poo is philosophical

So if a poo falls in the forest when there's no one around...does it make a sound? Since it's outside the scope of mass perception at that time...does that poo even exist?

What happens if you consider the fact that if we didn't poo our bowels would rupture releasing their contents into our gut which leads to poisoning of the native area, enzymatic digestion and other things, which finally leads to a horrible and painful death?

Other than that I like this idea of poo falling in a forest and our ability to question whether it in fact exists :P
