Yeah, it's even worse when everything's written out because then people interrupt and mess up my script.

You have to write something so off the wall and unexpected that you pause simply because you have no idea where the letter is going.

I'm good with talking in person, but phone calls are awful for some reason. Whenever I have to call around for work, I generally write out a small outline of what I'm going to say, so I don't ramble. It really helped when I had to set up an interview time for an article I was writing last week.
