I am going to tweak the rules a bit but we should do another game in this vain. I'll let you make your characters next time tho.

I'm going to ask you guys to start working on your characters for the next "part" as you will be playing as your ancestors. The next part takes place during the 30's though it may be a bit anachronistic.
When crafting your characters keep the time frame in mind and also this important hint: the adventure will involve wilderness survival.
Making characters is extremely easy. You basically get 10 dice to put into skills. If you remember how we played last time, each of your skills had a die value. This time you simply come up with your own.
So if your character's back story involves stealing horses so that he could sell them to buy pants for his sister you might put Kind Hearted Horse Thief (4). The more broad it is the more chances you'll have to use it but if its too broad I'll ask you to change it. So no making the skill Does Everything Well (10)
Also no skill can exceed 6 dice.
And for the sake of shortening the power gap between people with higher skills and lower ones, I'm changing the resolution mechanic. Now you roll your dice as normal but don't add them up. You take any dice thats 4 or higher and that counts as a success. An easy task will require 1, a normal takes 2, and a hard task takes 3 successes.
So if the Kind Heart Horse Thief were trying to steal a horse off a guy who was on it that would be p hard. He would roll 4 dice and if he came up with 3 successes he would steal the horse assuming the guy on the horse didn't try to defend in any way.
So to summarize you need
Your character's name
His/her back story
and skills
And if you could describe what they look like this is all stuff that would help me
If you guys have any questions just contact me
