Assuming we can get together tomorrow we are going to play the playtest rules for Dnd Next. It will just be a one shot since the rules only cover up to level 3. It could be two sessions since the adventure is kind of huge but its like a sandbox adventure so Idk if you're even meant to experience it all.

After that Im thinking of switching our main game from swords and wizardry to castles and crusaders. Its the logical step up. It's got skill checks, more classes, and is basically like jumping from dnd basic to advanced.
