Think of hair as a wig on a drawing and not as normal hair I guess. Imagine how a wig would work :O also imagine hair in terms of layersOriginally Posted by ZXNova

Another tip would be to think of hair as an overall shape, not strand by strand. Once you have the shape, go back, and fill the details in.
