Anyway, since F is moving, again, some information that I know I told some of the players, but not all.

The Church is essentially three branches, the Priesthood, the Crusaders, and the Inqusition.
The Priesthood is what it sounds like, and made up of priests, bishops, and so on. The head of the priesthood is the Vicar of St. Cuthbert and the head of the entire church.
The Crusaders are the military arm of the church and professional soldiers and whatnot. Headed by the Crusader General.
The Inquisition is what it sounds like. The secret police of the church who control the populace through fear and torture, and purge heresy and apostasy with fire and sword. Witch Hunters are the common name for younger, lower ranked, Inquisitors who are tasked with monitoring and policing the laity and with handling matters of lay heresy, witches (Witches, Sorcerers, and unsanctioned Psions and Wizards) and with killing abominations (Tieflings, Sorcerers, and other such things). Heresy and apostasy within the church is handled by the older and more experienced and high ranking Inquisitors. Laure is technically a Witch Hunter, hence why she's leading F against a cult made up of lay people and not the church.
The common metaphor is that the Priesthood is the head or heart of the church and guides it, the Crusaders are the sword and bring the truth and justice of the Saint upon heathens and His enemies, and the Inquisition is the shield of the church, safeguarding it from heresy and the subtle taint of the Enemy.
The divide between the priesthood and the other two branches of the church is blurry. Priests like Vivien often get attached to help out the Crusaders, and the Inquisition generally recruits from it. So people in service to the church don't really see themselves as belonging to any one group - besides the Inquisition, who are in it for life and fairly insular for obvious reasons.

Regarding Laure, the idea is that she's conservative even by Cuthbertine standards. Thinks all arcane magic and alchemy are blasphemous and ought be banned. It's a popular strain of thought among some of the Inquisition and the church in general. Arcane magic was always seen as a bit blasphemous, if necessary, and alchemy/transmutation in particular as bad - the vanity to feel that mortals can and should remodel reality. The world is as the gods have made it and so it should be. Plus from a more cynical standpoint, the church likes having a Clerical monopoly on magic, and the obvious fear that scholarly Wizards might figure out the truth that reality is malleable, the gods dependent on mortals, and all that nasty truth stuff.
Good Cuthbertines know better than to let truth get in the way of the truth. Our eyes may deceive us, but our god never will.

I'll clear out my inbox and send you a PM. :3 But as for the Rogue thing - someone hasn't played Prince of Persia. :3

EDIT: Although maybe I'll make Wall Running require a minimum dex or something.

Looks like perspective may be a bit wonky near the boobehs, although it could be the dress confusing me. I love it either way though. :3

Anyway. Time for Drowrambles. This time the church.

The church is ostensibly one entity, but in reality it's pretty much as fractured, and prone to infighting and factionalization as everything else in Drow society. The biggest differences between the church and other Drow institutions are the omnipresence of it, the influence it has over all aspects of Drow life, and its willingness to cooperate internally when its power or authority or threatened. The priestesses are happy and content to murder and fight each-other, but generally will come to each-others' aid and defense when they are feeling threatened by secular Drow authority. After all, remember, Lolth's favorite sacrifice is a tie between Elven priests of Corellon Larethian, and her own priestesses.

The priesthood, of course, is entirely female. The closest males ever get to being priests is becoming a Dread Fang of Lolth. The yathtallar is the highest ranking priestess in a given city (or region in the case of mega-cities like Edonilche'el). She quite often will commune on a weekly basis with the Goddess, and is the personal executor of Her will and power, presiding over all major ceremonies and rituals, and instituting Her punishments such as being the lead caster during the creation of Drider. Below her are handful of obok'yathrinen, or high priestesses, who preside over less important daily rituals and sacrifices, and boss around the more numerous rank and file yathrinen (priestesses). Passing at least one Test of Lolth is a requirement to become an obok'yathrinen, and failure to satisfy Lolth in this way is the most common source of Drider.
In most city-states, where the valsharess is a secular ruler and not the yathtallar herself, there is usually at least some tension between the two women. This tension generally resolves quickly, as one will quickly kill the other and have her replaced by someone more responsive to her demands, or, in the case of the yathtallar killing the valsharess, simply assume the role of valsharess herself.

Also, here are two common Drow prayers!
"Lolth zud'dar uns'aa" is a common Drow prayer, translating to "Lolth test me." It is considered unwise in the extreme to ask Lolth for aid, as to do so is to admit weakness and thus to invoke Her wrath. Thus the Drow, instead, ask Her for the opportunity to demonstrate one's prowess and skill, and in doing so to hopefully gain Her favor. This sort of prayer is typically said upon waking each day, and before major tasks or events.
"Lolth tlu laoles; jal ultrinnan zhah Ilta xunin!" is an exultation to the Goddess typically uttered after - or sometimes before - some manner of victory or accomplishment. It more or less literally translates to "Lolth be praised; all victory is Her doing!"

And, while not prayers, here are three little Drow aphorisms that I think capture the spirit of their culture and society nicely.
"Xun izil dos phuul quarthen, lueth dro," or "do as you are told, and live."
"Jal khaless zhah waela," or "all trust is foolish."
"Nindyn vel'uss kyorl ninta ratha thalra elghinn dal l'alust," or "those who watch their backs meet death from the front."

EDIT: I forgot to mention. Only the most beautiful women are allowed to be priestesses, even in the first place. Lolth simply refuses to grant Cleric powers to those she finds insufficiently beautiful. Also, obviously, like IRL medieval issues involving the investiture of bishops and popes, most Drow houses try and get daughters in the church as it is both a status symbol and also helps to have an inside-girl who can hopefully influence her peers and make the local priesthood more receptive and compliant.

Forgot Ramirez's theme. His voice probably sounds similar to Morrisey's, too.
