Aryyna gave a genuinely warm smile. "That would be lovely. Maybe I could even invite T'puuli. She's dumb as shit, but she's fun. And she's got skill where it counts, aha." Aryyna rose, still nude, and embraced Neit and kissed her forehead before kissing her more deeply on the lips.

"I'm sure you will pass Her test. Lots of bitches dumber and uglier than you have." She smiled and sounded... honest? "Just don't get reckless. Good things come to those who wait, and the clever spider weaves her web carefully, and deliberately."

Aryyna gave her another kiss and a smack on the bottom. "Off you go then!"

Neit's face flushed a deep grey-reddish Sienna color, through still spliced by the pure black blades of her decorated jowls. Receiving compliments from a superior, especially when she had barely done anything, made her feel even more suspicious, but she had to admit that Aryyna was quickly gaining a grasp on her imagination that she found it difficult of remove.

"T-thank you, Illharess!" Was the most complex phrase her mind could string together as she began to walk away. Still, she halted to return a pleasant smile, and leaned over at the chest with a rather coy motion. "I'll t-try n-not to make this meetin' a waste ofe your time. Goodbye for now."

    ///

Walking back out into the cold street air felt far too much like it had all been a dream. More than a single stray lavander-hue hair still remained on her clothes as evidence, but she had to remove them regardless, in fear of what the others might think.

Time to finally find a wizard and contact Hwesta.

    ///

When Neit tracked down Alsiif and Ryyna again she had already managed to get particularly drunk once more. That crushing, overwhelming fear had somehow worn off, and she was back to her old unfocused self again... more or less.

"Sidetracked, sorrizz. Ie gote sum toolse." A pair of hefty pliers were placed on the table, followed by a large bundle of needles, hooks, chains and other sinister impliments. "Talked to 'westa... We are goin' to Ulurei in Avenussz... You commin'?"

Alsiif leaned over and started fondling the hooks. "I'll definitely be coming if we get to use these on someone.. Ahm.." She looked over at Neitar, "but do you know who that could be yet?"

"Dunno. 'westy should know somebody who is juste askin' to be ripped to shreds, through." Neitar responded with a humored shrug, spinning a rather large needle effortlessly around her fingers. "Not thate I gives a shits who they are, bute we won' even have to cover our assess ife we can finde a bitch people already wante dead."

"...Think if you kepte givin' somebody healin' potions, you could drown 'em in their own blood?..." Her fingers suddenly flattened out and slammed onto the table, driving the pin satisfyingly deep into the fungi. "...Oh, and I wante you involved, hun... bute we mighte need to finde a place outside the temple to jump 'er, yeah?"

Ryyna started playing around with the pliers. "One of us could ask her out to an orgy or something I guess? We've got the gear."

Neit looked ponderous for a moment.

After a pause, she arced her back and shot an alluring, sexually charged pose towards one of Ryyna's orc flunkies. He stammered forward a little, allowing himself to believe his good fortune because for the briefest of moments... before she planted a thought in his head which gave him an aversion to his own underpants junk.

"Yes." The shaded thing remarked blankly, taking a renewed sip of her drink. "We have tha' geare."

It costs each of you 450gp for the teleport. It will cost you all 10gp per slave you leave behind to have em left in secure slavepens. For now I will make it a flat low rate. In the future I will likely make it based on how long you are gone and stuff.

The party sobered up, met up again, and headed to the nearest Wizard for hire to arrange for teleport to Ulurei.

    ***

Ulurei was a small city by Drow standards, but far larger and more populous than any of the nearby Human settlements in Avernus - to say nothing of the laughable hovels the Troglodytes called home.
The city itself was built into a truly massive column which ran from the floor to the ceiling of the Western Vault.
It was cold and damp, there in Avernus. Not cold enough that they were in danger of hypothermia, but certainly chilly enough that a nice cloak would have been nice.

From the literal edge of the city they could look out onto the Western Vault itself. Much of Avernus was illuminated - bioluminescent fungi were endemic to Avernus and the ceiling of the Western Vault was home to many large patches of such fungi, bathing the great cavern in a faint, sickly, green light.

From such vantage points the trio could make several walled settlements and fortresses of the Human kingdom of Avernus, as well as numerous underground mountains, stalactites and stalagmites, and other such things. Still; if they were going to spend much time outside the city (once Lolth's Test was complete, of course), a map would be a very wise investment.

EDIT: Regarding the cold; you can spend 20 GP to buy a fashionable and comfy cloak that will make you look and feel hot. Or you can tough it out. The Western Vault is cold and damp, but not dangerously so. The worst that will happen to you is that after a while in the open - outside the city really - you might get uncomfortable.

Since Neit always dressed rather modestly (or at least unrevealingly) anyway, she didn't really seem to be all that effected by the breeze. Even that one doofy Grimlock she brought along was permitted to use it's blanket as a cloak, making 'Zuokx' look like a rather amusingly horrible vagrant bed monster.

What the crowish Drow did do was brood during the entire journey, obsessively planning out her every word and option days in advance. The alcohol she brought with her was running out rather quickly.

First things first, she lead the group in a search for a decent place to stay for this night at least, keeping an eye out for any recent upheavals or signs that Hwesta intended to have her church cronies ambush them. Particularly, she had a gander at the location of the monastery itself before making her presence known. It didn't really help that Neit had not been within the city for years, but she did her best to scratch her brain for a memory or two about the surroundings.

Neitar knew that Ulurei's valsharess, Arra, was a member of House Rendanvlos, although the numerous banners in the city, the emblems on the guards armor, and the fact that a not insignificant number of the guards were clearly demonblooded or, in the ritzier areas, actual bound Demons, kind of gave that away, too.

Ulurei is also the resting place of the pommel of some manner of powerful artifact sword which had been brought down by the earliest Human expedition to Avernus, and used to slay some particularly badass Balor. Obviously, the sword later was somehow destroyed, and its pommel fallen into the hands of the Drow of Ulurei.

The Western Vault was home to numerous settlements built by the Humans of their Kingdom of Avernus, and the vault itself was the smaller of the two largest vaults in Avernus, second only to the Grand Gallery in the east. North, in the tunnels of Northwestern Avernus, there was some manner of Gold Dragon, as well as more Human settlements, and the Drow city of Yathrinser. To the south were the twisting tunnels of the aptly named Labyrinth.

The Western Vault is where the Humans of Avernus first entered into Avernus, although the entrance to the surface they used has long since collapsed in a cave-in. Although the Human settlements in the Western Vault are the oldest, they are not the wealthiest, with the most populous, wealthy, and important Avernite settlements being instead in the Grand Gallery. The Humans of Avernus have been in more or less perpetual on-again-off-again war with the Troglodytes since, well, for as long as there have been Avernites.

    ***

Neit was able to find a particularly nice and fancy inn for the party to stay at, that afforded them the proper luxury for women of their status, and seemed to be very safe - by Drow standards anyway. It would cost them each 4 GP per night, and additional 4 SP for every slave who would not be staying with them as house-hold slaves and instead made to wait in the slave pens.

    ***

The city's Temple of Lolth was on the literal southern edge of the city, on the highest level, overlooking the rest of the Western Vault. It was large, imposing, and generally typical. The party could see a massive Bebilith milling about a enormous web built along the edge of the column. The guards, otherwise, were mostly pureblooded Drow, and a few bound Succubi. Plus, of course, countless spiders.

Neit didn't take a single chance, moving sharply and swiftly, sticking to the shadows. As happy as she was for seeing Hwesta again, it didn't make sense to assume her daughter was just as upbeat about the prospect. She knew that Neit wanted to talk to her for a reason, after all.

Much to the annoyance of the manager, the Grimlock got left behind in the hotel room proper. But the simpleton seemed to enjoy lurking on the sofa and devouring the food provided by the highly disturbed and confused staff. It was a Drow city outside of that room, at least, so Neit knew it wouldn't bother going far.

The bar she had chosen to meet Hwesta within was a large an dank place, carved directly out of a moderately huge stalagmite lump. It was dimly glowing and smoking out of all the entrances, rather resembling a furnace. There was probably a name, but Neit was too obsessed concentrating on what lied ahead to read the sign.

A girl in a black dress waved to Neit from a stool at the bar, looking largely flustered and excited.

Neit concentrated for a second, then gave off a baleful look. For a second, her eyes let off a deep scarlet glow.

The girl grasped her head, spat out a steam of blood, then died in a heap.

"Testin' whither Ie remembere your face?" Everyone within the vicinity caught a sudden, reverberating whisper. It felt painfully close. From inside one's skull.

There was a sudden screech of laughter at the back, deep within the amassed crowds.

Neitar followed it urgently, dragging the others quickly along with her.

Hwesta was not exactly a splitting image, but you could tell she was Neit's daughter from a mile off. Shorter and more fair-featured, but just as dark skinned, she bore a impressive regalia of spiraling pink tattoos, resembling the knotted skulls and spinal columns of twisted sea creatures. Void-black plumes of feathers made up almost all of her outfit, through she saw fit to display far more of her flesh than Neit ever did. Everything was loud, jagged and provoking, right up to her mid-length hot pink hair style.

"Fucke you mom!" The thing made an agitated squeak, through her large, angular eyes spoke of amusement. It didn't take her long to let out a full-on bellowing laugh over the death of her own assassin. "Thate totally coulda been, like, me!"

"She had poisone all over 'er face and necke. Two guesses 'ow I knew." Neit looked whimsically disappointed, before darting a glance to both of Hwesta's rather large and ungainly orc bodyguards. "Plus Ie know you wouldn' be dumb enoughe to come alone anyhow..."

"Well I know you are thinkin' about killin' me. Ya shouldn'a told me about the teste, ma..." She pouted, pouring the four of them a pungent orange-coloured drink. The mood had changed on a dime to being warm and welcoming, and Neit was confident enough to inhale the drink without question, sitting down across the table.

"Ah. And these two fuckers must be your friends..." Hwesta continued, making a large smile. "A pleasure to meet you! Come on, sit! Drink!..."

"-Oh, and please call me Yathrin or I'll have to knock all your teeth out. :3"
