I figured I'd ask. Only because I just want to know about what FPS games you think are greatest or the worst possible to have even been released. So, what do you think?(My opinion omitted, of course)
EDIT: The thread now includes TPS's or Third Person Shooters for those who don't play games or even know what they are. (No offense meant by the last part of that)

I didn't expected anything from it. I grew up with the game and even as a kid I didn't found any joke in it. It was just controversial and interesting, the first approach in my childhood to boobs and sex, but out of that the game was horroble, and so I expected to be now.
True. I can't say anything since I grew up in the late 90's(early 2000's to be exact). So most games that I come across that I think are cool have usually been around for awhile, like Quake for example.

I'm not going to throw out the obvious Call of Duty hate that's inherent with FPS discussions. So I'll just talk about the ones I love.
Unreal Tournament, Battlefield, Halo, Bulletstorm, Killing Floor, Half-Life2, and S8 are all tops on my list. I can't give an opinon on the new Nuke, cause I've never played it. But from what I hear it's baaaad.
Oye, not the worst, but a pretty bad FPS (if you use magic and arrows): Skyrim.

Worst fps: Deus ex
Does Portal2 count? Cause technically you're shooting... just portals.
Killzone 3 and Section 8 are my multiplayer shooters.
As for single players I've greatly enjoyed the Army Of Two series (nothing says "fuck you" like a rainbow colored rpg), Mass Effect 2 (wish it wasn't 80% recruitment missions), Fallout 3 and NV (glitchy though), Dark Void (Boost, Switch to hover mode, snipe, snipe, switch to flight mode and speed off), Vanquish (they have got get rid of auto reflex mode),
One thing about fps is they are a little bit overdone
